Assessment Review Service

If you have had any assessment performed internally or by a third-party and are unsure what specific solutions are being recommended, you can share the report with our expert Team. Think Posture will review, advise, and provide specific recommendations.

DSE Compliant Workstation Assessment

A fully compliant DSE assessment performed by a qualified DSE Assessor, as required by the DSE regulations. Following the assessment, a completed DSE assessment form will be submitted, highlighting any areas of concern and making recommendations.

Problem Solving Workstation Review

A service that can be delivered remotely or face-to-face, this is a review of the workstation including an assessment of the individual's posture, to offer specific recommendations regarding best working practice, good posture, and reasonable adjustments to maximise comfort and prevent future injury.

Complex Workplace Assessment

This assessment is intended to cope with more complex situations that necessitate more in-depth expertise and training to resolve the confirmed musculoskeletal issues impacting DSE function. Environmental and workplace factors, affecting the employee, as well as task specific concerns will be addressed. An experienced Assessor will provide an in-depth report with detailed advice and recommendations.

Complex Medical Assessment

An Assessor with a Medical qualification will undertake this assessment. This is required if there is a complex medical history with multiple musculoskeletal issues or should underlying health concerns affect the users’ abilities at work.

This assessment would also be recommended should the employer require advice from a medical professional about how best to help an employee.

Dynamic Workstation Assessment

Dynamic Assessment

This assessment may be requested independently or recommended following a lower-level assessment.

Undertaken by a medical professional with in-depth knowledge of musculoskeletal issues and advanced ergonomics training.

This level of assessment involves multiple visits, liaising with management and often other health professionals, and providing where required, ongoing, dynamic, adaptive support, alongside a series of detailed reports and recommendations.

There is an evaluation completed on all aspects of the role and environment, as well as postural analysis.

Driver & Vehicle Assessments

Driver Set-up Review - This review is for someone who wants to improve their driving setup. In the stationary car, the driver is analysed in order to maximise positioning and comfort and advised about what features and adjustments their vehicle has and how to better set them for maximum comfort & best posture.

Complex Driver & Vehicle Assessment - This assessment is intended to cope with more complex situations that necessitate more in-depth expertise and training to resolve the identified musculoskeletal problems when driving the vehicle. A stationary analysis that investigates the solutions open to the driver beyond the modifications provided by their car.

Functional Capacity Assessments

FCA (Lite)

A Functional Capacity Assessment is performed by a medical professional, and it assesses the user at work, including observation of working practices as well as taking an in-depth case history. The outcome is to recommend any adjustments and changes that can be introduced to help an employee stay in work if possible.

FCA (Plus)

This fitness to work assessment includes physical testing and collection of quantitative data to explore the capabilities of the employee and determine if they are considered safe and fit to complete their role.
